How To Flush Poop That is Too Big To Flush?

Many people complain that sometimes their poop size is larger, and they cannot flush it. It remains or floats in the bowl because of its consistency and size.

How To Flush Poop That is Too Big To Flush? You can flush the poop that is too big to flush with a snake auger or metal hanger, bidet long water pipe, increasing flushing power, frequent flushing, and dissolving while flushing. Moreover, you can also use bleaching agents, handwashing detergents, and commercial chemicals.

It is an awkward situation when you are using public or guest bathrooms because it can make you embarrassed when others enter inside after you.

How do you flush a poop that is too big to flush?

It is necessary to adopt different methods for quickly passing large solid materials into the drain pipes so they do not remain in the bowl and produce a smell and awkward situations.

Use a snake auger and metal hanger

A snake auger and plunging device are suitable to break the large solid waste material so it can move easily into the sewer system through drain pipes.

Many people place the plunging device and other cleaning items in their bathroom so people can use them in an emergency.

You can quickly locate these items when using a guest bathroom in your friend’s or relative’s home and face the flushing problem. The snake auger contains a spring at its end which can disintegrate the large stool materials and allow them to move quickly from the traps and pipes.

You can also use an old metal hanger for your cloth if you cannot access these cleaning tools quickly.

Use bidet long pipe

Many people add the bidet to their toilets for cleaning purposes instead of using toilet paper. In addition, it provides more cleanliness by washing your body parts with water.

Sometimes, these bidets are not connected directly to the bowl and are installed separately in your bathroom. You can use their long pipe to change the size and shape of large stools because of their high-water pressure.

Hold the water pipe in the bowl for 4 to 5 minutes until it starts disintegration of the solid waste material. Pressurized water reduces their size, and these can pass easily through drain pipes.

Increase flushing power with a water bucket

It is better to increase the flushing power of your toilets if you face a problem because of a weak system. Sometimes the water level and pressure are insufficient in the tank to pass the larger solid waste material into the pipes.

You can strengthen the flush to increase the overall water pressure and remove solid waste. Fill the large bucket in your home with water.

Press the lever or button of your toilet and simultaneously start pouring the water bucket into the bowl. I use the slightly hot water in the bucket because of better results.

Hot water causes the breakdown of poop into smaller particles, which are easy to pass.

More than one flush

You can also try multiple flushing to remove poop from the toilet bowl. You have to wait 2 to 3 minutes in the bathroom to refill the water tank.

It irritates people because they have to wait a few minutes for the next flush. Sometimes, a single flush is not enough to clear the traps because of their weak pressure and insufficient water levels.

It is not a suitable method for public bathrooms because it can make you late for your work routine, and other people are also waiting outside.

I only prefer to do this when you are using your bathroom. Use plungers in public and guest bathrooms for unclogging because these take less time than refilling cisterns.

Dissolving and flushing

You can simultaneously try the dissolving and flushing techniques to clear large solid waste from the toilet bowl and traps. You can use different home-based ingredients that cause the disintegration of poop and break them into smaller pieces.

These materials reduce their size so they can easily move through narrow pipes and traps in your toilets. You can use baking soda, vinegar, lime solution, carbonated beverages, and bleach to dissolve the solid waste.

Pour these solutions and flush the toilet after some so they can pass out with water pressure.

Handwashing detergent

Handwashing detergents contain chemicals that cause the breakdown of thick and bulky poop and also make the surface slippery for easy movement.

The larger solid waste cannot remain in the bowl and cause clogging because of the slippery surface. Mixing the dishwashing detergent with water is better to increase its slipping properties.

Pour it into the toilet bowl and press the flush lever or button. The water pressure and slippery surfaces allow them to move into the drain pipes because of less friction on the bowl surface.

Commercial chemicals

I commonly use commercial chemicals to remove large stools from my toilets. These are easy to use relative to plunging devices and decrease the risk of dirty water splashes on your hand and cloth.

Some of these commercial chemicals contain bleaching agents for unclogging. Pour the bleaching acid-based solution into the bowl and wait for results.

Bleaching agents usually take 4 to 8 minutes to dissolve the solid waste by creating a chemical reaction. Moreover, you can also use commercial de-cloggers and enzymatic-based detergents.

These enzymatic cleaners contain active ingredients that digest solid waste and organic material.

Why is it difficult to flush a poop that is too big?

Poop size depends on the eating habits and lifestyle of the individual. These are larger when taking big and frequent meals with more fiber content.

In addition, the issue comes because of digestive disorders if you are facing them frequently. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to flush them, and these float in the bowl.

The problem comes because of the toilet’s weak and faulty flushing system. Moreover, low water levels in the cisterns and faulty press buttons and levers also cause this problem.

These cannot move quickly into the drain pipes because of the type of toilets. I also have a low flush toilet at my home, which uses less water, and sometimes it becomes challenging to pass the heavy waste material.

Some toilets also have narrow traps that do not allow the movement of waste material, which can lead to clogging. You can also face problem because of the narrow size of drain lines that does not allow the larger materials to pass through them.

Solid waste contents also stick around the drain lines because of their damaged walls and increase clogging risks. Hard water also leads to the accumulation of mineral content on the wall of drain pipes and makes them narrow.

What happens if you do not flush the large poop properly?

Many people cannot flush the large poop because of the bad toilets and their flushing system. It produces a smell in the bathroom when solid waste remains in the bowl longer.

You can feel the stinky odor when you enter inside because of waste material residues and bacterial growth. It gives a sense of uncleanliness when someone enters your bathroom to use the toilets.

In addition, the smell and current condition also make you nauseous. I experience severe clogging issues in my toilets because of incomplete flushing of solid waste material.

Clogging becomes severe that you cannot resolve it with water. Water comes outside on your floor because it cannot move into the drain pipes.

The dirty and unhygienic water from toilets comes on your bathroom floor, making them unsanitary and dirty.
